LPI LatestPilotInterviews (“LPI”) is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of those who use our services. LPI is established in the Netherlands and therefore the Dutch and European data protection legislation, especially EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), are applicable to LPI and this website. This Privacy Statement discloses the privacy practices regarding the personal data submitted via the LPI’s website and related applications and services.

Your personal data is held in a secure environment and is accessible only by relevant LPI staff using individual usernames and passwords. It should be noted that the nature of the Internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the Internet. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. However, we will take all reasonable steps, both technical and organisational, to protect your personal data. You hereby agree that you will immediately notify LPI at any time that you are aware of unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security concerning your account, the website, or other related services.

When you visit LPI’s website we learn which type and version of browser you are using, the operating system of your computer, the pages you visited beforehand, the host name of the computer making contact, and the date and time of the contact as provided by the server. This information is evaluated purely for statistical, marketing and security purposes and is deleted after evaluation if not needed to investigate a security incident.

Sensitive data

This website is not intended for registering or collecting sensitive personal data such as personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation or, personal data relating to criminal convictions and offences or related security measures.

CV & Cover Letter Service

The personal data LPI collects regarding the CV & Cover Letter Service depends on the information contained in the submitted CV and/or Cover Letter by the customer. It may include name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, nationality, employment history and other personal information you optionally chose to submit.

Purposes

Information directly or indirectly submitted via the LPI website will be processed with due care and will be used for the following purposes:

– Registration and authentication
The processing is necessary for the creation of an user account or the successful placing of an order.
Automated decision-making: Yes, to confirm your location to comply with MOSS Tax rules.

Retention: The account is active as long as you are active. If no activity is registered for an account for a period of ten years the account will be terminated and deleted.

Disclosure to independent third parties: No

Legal basis: The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, (article 6 p.1 (b) of the GDPR).

Retention: Data collected for statistics are deleted after evaluation. Data collected in case of troubleshooting and security investigations are deleted when the case is closed.
Disclosure to independent third parties: Google Inc., when using the tool Google analytics.

– Managing support and contact requests
Legal basis: The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, (article 6 p.1 (b) of the GDPR).

Retention: Data collected in connection with contact requests and support cases are deleted when the case is closed.

Persons under the age of 16

LPI does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not use the site or related services. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 16, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

Storage and disclosure to employees and subcontractors

Your personal data are primarily stored on physical servers located in the Netherlands. LPI restricts access to your personal data to our employees and subcontractors that need to use the information in order to process it on your behalf. Processing activities are performed within and outside of the EEA and, in countries with and without, an adequacy decision by the EU Commission.

Retention

Generally, LPI store your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you. Your account will be stored until you choose to cancel your account. If no activity is registered for an account for a period of ten years the account will automatically be terminated. When an account is terminated all personal data connected to your account will be deleted except for information that LPI is required to keep due to statutory regulations.

Right to access, rectification and erasure

You have the right to request information about the personal data LPI process relating to you. Requests for such information must be made in writing and be personally signed by you, and include information on full name and e-mail address. You also have the right to request that LPI correct, restrict, delete or transfer any personal data relating to you. Requests should be sent to: info[at]latestpilotinterviews.com. Finally, you can always access and update the personal data that you have provided by logging in to your account.
